About YallClick

YallClick is Kris Robinson. A teacher who became an SEO strategist, working out of Wilkes County for the businesses around him.

Who runs YallClick?

YallClick is run by Kris Robinson, an SEO strategist and digital marketer from Wilkesboro, North Carolina, now based in Purlear. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University, class of 2019, along with North Carolina teaching licenses in Spanish and English as a Second Language, and Google Ads Search and Google Analytics certifications. YallClick works with local service businesses across Wilkes, Watauga, Ashe and Avery counties. The main plan is $499 a month with no contract.

From teacher to SEO strategist

Almost nobody arrives at this job in a straight line, and I did not either.

I trained as a teacher. I hold North Carolina licenses in Spanish and English as a Second Language, and I spent my working life explaining complicated things to people who had every reason to find them confusing — usually in a second language, usually to someone who was already nervous.

That turns out to be most of this job too. A business owner who has been told their site needs “schema markup and better internal linking” is in exactly the same position as a student staring at a verb tense that makes no sense. The answer is not to say it louder. The answer is to say it in words that land.

HOW THIS ACTUALLY STARTED

I learned this by needing it

A job board nobody could find

The first thing I ever built was a job board for teachers looking for work abroad. I put it online and waited.

Nothing happened. Not a trickle. It turns out that publishing something and being findable are two completely different projects, and I had only done the first one.

So I went and learned why. That is the entire origin of this business: I needed organic traffic for something I cared about, and there was nobody to hand it to.

Then a blog I used as a laboratory

Next came KrisDoesEnglish.com, a review site for ESL teaching tools. That one was deliberate. It was where I taught myself keyword research, on-page structure and the slow grind of making a page rank — on my own site, with my own time, where the only person I could cost money was me.

I would rather have learned it that way than on somebody else’s budget.

What I hold

The App State years matter for a practical reason as well as a personal one. When I write about Boone, I am not writing about a town I looked up.

WORK BEFORE YALLCLICK

Businesses I have already done this for

Real clients, named, from before this company had a name of its own.

NBR Plumbing LLC

Technical fixes, service-based keyword targeting, on-page improvements, and Google Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console set up properly.

Vision Baptist Church

Local SEO for Millers Creek, structured content and on-page work for stronger keyword visibility, with Analytics and Search Console connected.

Accurate Books Solutions LLC

A full website build with structured pages and clean site architecture, laid out so the SEO and analytics work had a real foundation to sit on.

Notice the pattern. A plumber, a church and a bookkeeper — three completely different organisations, all of them local, none of them with a marketing department. That is who this is built for.

WHY YALLCLICK EXISTS

The version of this I would have wanted to hire

Most small businesses around here have the same experience with marketing companies.

They cannot find out what it costs without a call. They sign something with a twelve-month term. They get a report they do not understand, or no report at all. And when they ask what actually happened, the answer is vague.

YallClick is the opposite of that on every one of those points. The price is on the site. There is no contract. The report is written in plain English and says what did not work as well as what did. And you talk to the person doing the work, because that person is the whole company.

What I am aiming at is a blend of analytical thinking, clear communication, technical understanding, and a real commitment to building content and experiences that people actually want to find. That last part is not a slogan. It is the difference between a page that ranks and a page that deserves to.

HOW WE WORK

Five things we will not do

Guarantee a ranking

Google does not sell rankings and does not take requests. Anyone promising you position one is either guessing or lying, and we would rather lose the sale.

Write or buy reviews

Fake reviews carry real civil penalties under federal rules and Google removes them. We build a system that asks your real customers instead.

Lock you into a contract

Everything is month to month. If we are not earning it, you should be able to stop without a phone call, and you can.

Hide the price

Every number we charge is on the Plans page. You should not have to sit through a sales call to find out if we fit your budget.

Hold your accounts hostage

Your website, your domain, your Google listing, your ad account. All yours. If you leave, you take every login with you.

Send a report nobody reads

One page, plain English, what changed and what did not. Not forty pages of charts designed to look like effort.

THE TOOLBOX

What I actually use

None of that is unusual. What is unusual is showing you what came out of it, every month, in writing.

WHERE WE ARE

Wilkes County, and the three counties around it

The office is in Purlear. I grew up in this county and I live in Purlear now, out past Millers Creek toward Rendezvous Mountain.

Search for a marketing agency in this region and most of what comes back is in Arden, Morganton, Mount Airy or another state entirely. There is nothing wrong with those companies. But there is a real difference between an agency that has read about Boone and one that spent four years there.

Wilkes County

Home. Purlear, Wilkesboro, North Wilkesboro, Millers Creek, Hays, Moravian Falls, Ronda and the rest.

Watauga County

Boone, Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis and Deep Gap — four years of my life and a road I still drive.

Ashe County

West Jefferson, Jefferson, Lansing and Fleetwood, about a half hour up NC 16.

Avery County

Newland, Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Linville and Elk Park.

QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED

Questions about working with us

Yes, and that is deliberate. It means you always talk to the person doing the work, and nothing gets lost being passed between an account manager and a team. It also means we take on a limited number of clients, and we will say so when we are full rather than taking your money anyway.

Fair question. Two answers. First, the credentials are real and checkable — Google Ads Search and Google Analytics certifications, a degree from Appalachian State, and named clients you can look up. Second, the teaching background is the reason you will understand your own reports. Plenty of people in this industry can do the work. Fewer can explain it to you in a way that lets you judge whether it was worth paying for.

Then we stop taking new clients. Existing clients come first, and that is not a slogan — it is the only way a business like this stays worth hiring.

Lower overhead, no sales team, no office downtown, and no account managers between you and the work. The work is the same work. You are just not paying for the building.

Yes, anywhere in North Carolina. These four are just where we can drive to, so it is where we know the market best on day one.

Really. If you call at one in the morning we will be happy to answer. Small business problems do not keep office hours and we do not pretend they do.

You keep everything. The pages we wrote stay on your site, your listing stays yours, and we hand back every login. No exit fee and no phone call required.

The three clients above are real and named. Numbers go on the Results page as clients agree to share them — we would rather show you nothing than show you invented case studies, and there are plenty of the second kind out there.

Let us start with a straight answer.

Tell us what is going wrong. If we can help, we will say how. If we cannot, we will say that too, and point you somewhere better.
