WEBSITE MAINTENANCE IN PURLEAR, NC
Somebody watching the site so you do not have to
WordPress updates, backups, SSL, security and the small fixes that keep a site working. You work with Kris directly, you own everything we build, and there is no contract and no setup fee.
Maintenance is insurance that also improves things
Most of what maintenance prevents is invisible until it is not. The site that goes down on your busiest weekend was fine right up until it was not.
Updates applied and checked
WordPress core, theme and plugins. Applied, then checked, because the risk is as much a broken page as an unpatched one.
Backups that are offsite and tested
Automated, stored away from the server, and restorable. A backup nobody has restored is a hope.
SSL never lapses
An expired certificate puts a security warning in front of every visitor. It is a five minute job that costs weeks when nobody notices.
Small fixes get done
A broken link, a wrong phone number, a page that stopped rendering on mobile. Call and it gets sorted.
What goes wrong on unmaintained sites
We see the same list every time we take one over.
Plugins years out of date
Known vulnerabilities sitting on a live site. This is how most small business sites get compromised, not through clever attacks.
Spam injected into pages
Hidden pharmaceutical or casino links added to your site, which Google eventually penalises you for.
Contact form quietly broken
An update changed something and nobody noticed. Weeks of enquiries going nowhere is the most expensive silent failure there is.
A page that stopped rendering on mobile
Desktop looks fine, so nobody checks. More than half your visitors see the broken version.
Expired SSL
Browsers show a full page warning. Traffic collapses and most owners find out from a customer.
Nothing backed up
The most expensive problem, and always discovered at the worst possible moment.
How maintenance runs
Quietly, in the background, with a report so you know it is happening.
Back up first
Automated offsite backups running before anything else, so there is always something to roll back to.
Update and verify
Core, theme and plugins updated, then the key pages and the contact form actually checked afterwards.
Watch for trouble
Uptime, SSL expiry, security scanning and broken links. You find out from us, not from a customer.
Fix the small things
Content changes, a new photo, a price update. Call or text and it gets done.
How you pay for it
Website Maintenance is part of the monthly plan rather than a separate line item, because on its own it does not move the needle the way the whole system does. Every plan covers the ongoing Google Business Profile work, the local SEO and the reporting, and includes a set number of new pages or articles each month. You pick three, six or twelve depending on how fast you want to build out. A website is a separate one time build and hosting is a small monthly add on. No contract, no setup fee, cancel any month. The plans page lays out what each one costs.
You get the person doing the work, not an account manager
Most agencies put a salesperson in front of you and a stranger behind the work. Here you talk to Kris every time, and the person you talk to is the person inside your Google profile and your website.
You own everything we build
Your Google profile, your website, your domain, your analytics. All of it lives in your accounts. If we ever part ways you walk away owning the whole thing, with nothing to untangle.
Clear pricing and no contract
One monthly plan covers the ongoing work. Cancel any month. Extra pages are $127.50 each on a plan, the same price for every client, with no upsell on the pages that matter most.
We already know this market
We work Purlear and the roads around it every week. You are not paying us to learn where your customers are.
You can reach a human
Call or text (828) 379-1663 and you get an answer, not a ticket number. That is the whole support system and it is the one most owners actually want.
Five ways to reach us
Call, text, email, mail or send the form. Whichever you pick you get a real answer, usually the same day.

Tell me about your site
Takes about a minute. You get a reply with what I would do first and what it would cost, before you ever get a sales call.
Counties and towns we cover
Every one of these has its own page with detail specific to that place. If your town is not on the list, call anyway. We take on clients across the United States.
Straight answers before you pick up the phone
These come up on nearly every call about this service. If yours is not here, ask it on the phone.
What counts as a small fix?
Changing text, swapping a photo, updating hours or a price, fixing a broken link. If it is a few minutes, it is included. A new page is a page and costs $127.50.
How often do you update WordPress?
Regularly, and security releases immediately. The important part is checking the site after, because a bad plugin update breaking a page is a more common problem than a missed patch.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
We restore from a clean backup, find how it got in and close that. Which is why the backups and the updates are the point. Recovery without a backup is slow and expensive.
Can you maintain a site you did not build?
Yes, after an audit. Occasionally we find a site so badly built that maintaining it costs more than rebuilding, and we will tell you that rather than bill you monthly for it.
Do I really need this?
If your site is WordPress and it matters to your business, yes. If it is a simple static page that never changes, maybe not, and I will say so.
Services that pair with this one
Most clients run two or three of these together. Each one is sold on its own as well.
One conversation. Fifteen minutes. No pitch.
