Jefferson Avenue is the whole game downtown
US 221 runs through West Jefferson and NC 194 comes through the center with it before leaving at West Second Street. Jefferson Avenue is the main street, and the streetscape work that pulled out the traffic lights and buried the power lines is why it feels like somewhere you would park and walk.
