GOOGLE ADS LANDING PAGES IN PURLEAR, NC

One search, one page, one thing to click

A page built for paid traffic answers the exact search the ad was bought for and gives a visitor nothing to do but call. For small businesses across Wilkes, Watauga, Ashe and Avery it is usually the cheapest fix in a whole ad account. $157.50 a page.

WHY IT IS WORTH DOING

Why paid clicks should not land on your home page

Your home page has to serve everybody. A landing page only has to serve the one person who just searched for the thing you are bidding on, which is why it converts better every time.

It matches what they just typed

The headline repeats the search. A person who typed metal roof repair wants to see metal roof repair, not a welcome message and a slider of six services. Matching that is also the cheapest way to lift conversion rate.

Nothing else to click

No menu, no blog, no other services, no social icons. Every link on a page built for ad traffic is an invitation to leave, and the only way out should be the phone number or the form.

It lowers what you pay per lead

Conversion rate and cost per lead move in opposite directions. Doubling the rate on a page halves the cost of a lead without touching the budget, the bids or the keywords.

You can actually test it

One page, one purpose, one number to watch. Change the headline or the offer and you know what caused the difference, which is impossible when paid traffic is spread across a whole site.

WHY PURLEAR BUSINESSES PICK YALLCLICK

Why small businesses here let us build the ad pages

Five things, and the first is the one that most agencies cannot offer.

The page and the account are built by the same person

Most of the time the ads are run by one company and the page belongs to another, so nobody owns the gap between them. Here the person choosing the keywords is the person writing the headline, which is where message match actually comes from.

Built for a thumb on a bad signal

Most paid clicks around here come from a phone, often with poor service. The number is tappable, it sits where a thumb already is, and the page is light enough to paint before the person gives up.

The number on the page is tracked

A tracked number that swaps in for paid visitors, so a call from the page is counted as a conversion. Without that the account is optimizing toward forms only and ignoring most of your actual leads.

Written from what callers actually say

The words come out of real enquiries and reviews rather than industry language. People convert on the page that sounds like the question they were about to ask out loud.

$157.50 a page, same as any page

No separate landing page product with its own markup. It is charged exactly like any other page on your site, and it belongs to you when it is done.

WHAT WE FIX

What usually goes wrong with pages behind ads

Four problems account for most of the wasted spend we find, and none of them need a designer to fix.

Paid clicks pointed at the home page

The single most common setting in a small account. The ad promises one specific thing and the page talks about the company, so the visitor has to go looking for what they were promised.

The headline does not match the ad

Different wording, different service, sometimes a different town. The visitor cannot tell within a second that they are in the right place, and Google reads that mismatch too.

A form at the bottom and a number in an image

Nothing to act on without scrolling, and a phone number no thumb can tap. Both are invisible to the kind of visitor who decided before they clicked.

No reason to believe you

No reviews, no real photos, no service area, no name. A stranger spending money needs evidence, and a page built in an afternoon rarely has any on it.

HOW IT WORKS

How an ad page gets built

It starts in the account, not in a design tool. The page is built around a specific ad group, because that is the only way the wording can match.

STEP 1

Pick the one search it serves

One ad group, one intent, one page. If two services need two promises they need two pages, and trying to serve both on one is where conversion rate goes to die.

STEP 2

Write the promise first

Headline, subhead and the first paragraph written to echo the search and answer the obvious objection. Price or price range where you are willing to publish one, because it filters out the wrong caller before they call.

STEP 3

Build it light and mobile first

Compressed images, no plugin weight, a tappable number in the header and again at the bottom, a short form, and proof close to the button rather than buried at the foot of the page.

STEP 4

Track it, then change one thing

Form and call conversions wired into the ads account, then one change at a time once there is enough traffic to read. Usually the headline or the offer, and usually worth more than any bid adjustment.

How a landing page is paid for

$157.50 for the page, the same rate as any other page on your site, with no separate landing page product and no markup for calling it one. If you are on a monthly plan it comes out of that month’s page allowance instead. Ad management is quoted separately, and a page can be built whether or not we run your ads. The page is built on your own site in your own WordPress, so you keep it and can edit it, which is not true of most landing page builders agencies put clients on.

Rated 5 out of 5

“I couldn’t be happier with the website he created for my business. He took the time to understand exactly what I needed, made the whole process super smooth, and delivered a site that looks professional, clean, and perfectly aligned with my brand. Communication was great the entire time, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out right. I highly recommend him if you want quality work and someone who genuinely cares about the final product.”

“Hello, my name is Joel Gray, and I’m the Pastor of the Vision Baptist Church in Millers Creek, NC. The church was interested in getting a new website that would accommodate the ministry in allowing people to obtain information about the church. Chris has accomplished this goal for us through the website he created. Now people can gain knowledge of the church, listen to preaching, and order printed literature (KJV only) such as tracts and booklets free of charge. Thanks to Chris, we’ve already had some orders for printed literature from the website. To God be the Glory, and thank you Chris for the service you provide!”

WHERE WE DO THIS WORK

Where we build ad pages

A page built for paid traffic should name the place the ad is targeting, because that is half of what makes it match. A page serving Boone searches should say Boone. Each place below has its own page.

QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED

Straight answers about ad landing pages

These come up whenever a small account starts spending real money. Anything else, ask on the phone.

You can, and plenty of accounts do, which is why plenty of accounts have an expensive cost per lead. The home page has to serve customers, suppliers, job seekers and people looking for your hours. A landing page has one job, so it says one thing and asks for one action. In most accounts the gap between the two is the largest single improvement available.

One per promise, not one per keyword. If you bid on three genuinely different services you want three pages, because each one needs a different headline. If you bid on twelve variations of the same service, that is still one page. Starting with one, for your highest spending ad group, is the sensible way to find out whether it is worth doing again.

Yes, and they are deliberately two services here. A page built for ads is judged only on conversions from paid traffic and is stripped of everything that could lead a visitor away. A regular converting page is built to rank in search as well, so it keeps the navigation and carries more content. Same price, different job.

Probably not well, and it is not meant to. Pages built for ad traffic are short, narrow and have nothing linking to them. If you want a page that both ranks and converts, that is the other kind of landing page and it belongs under website design, not here.

Yes. It is built on your own site, in your own WordPress, with your own hosting. You can edit it, keep it and take it with you. A lot of agencies build ad pages on their own platform, which means the page disappears the month you leave and your conversion history goes with it.

Because the cost per lead in the ads account changes, and that is the only number that settles it. Form submissions and tracked calls from the page are counted as conversions, so you can compare the weeks before and after without taking anybody’s word for it.

RELATED SERVICES

What this works with

A landing page is one part of making paid search pay. These are the pieces either side of it.

Google Ads Management

The account that sends the traffic. Managed on calls and booked jobs rather than clicks, with the account staying in your name.

Conversion Tracking

Forms and calls counted properly before a budget opens up. Without it a landing page cannot be judged and the account cannot bid.

Google Ads Audit

Reading an existing account before changing it, which is usually how we find out that the page is the problem rather than the keywords.

Website Design

The organic version of this: converting pages built to rank as well, on a site fast enough to carry them.

One conversation. Fifteen minutes. No pitch.

Send me the link your ads point at and the service you are bidding on. I will tell you what the page is costing you in lost calls, and whether a new one is worth $157.50.

No contract. Cancel any month. You talk to Kris, not a call center.
